At Hotel Shikhar Inn Ujjain, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which reservations can be cancelled or modified.

By booking a room through our website, phone, or any online booking platform, you agree to the following cancellation terms.


1. Standard Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time without any cancellation charges.

If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before check-in, the hotel reserves the right to charge one night’s room tariff as a cancellation fee.


2. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive at the hotel on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation, the booking will be treated as a No-Show.

In such cases:

  • The booking may be cancelled automatically.
  • The full or partial booking amount may be charged depending on the reservation terms.

3. Advance Payment Bookings

For bookings where advance payment has been made:

  • Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges.
  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on the payment method and bank processing time.

4. Peak Season / Festival Bookings

During festival seasons, Mahakal events, and peak tourist periods in Ujjain, special cancellation policies may apply.

In such cases:

  • Bookings may be non-refundable
  • Or may require cancellation at least 48–72 hours before check-in

Guests are advised to check the cancellation terms mentioned at the time of booking.


5. Booking Modifications

Guests may request changes to their booking such as:

  • Change of check-in date
  • Change in number of guests
  • Room upgrades (subject to availability)

Modification requests must be made before the scheduled check-in time and may involve additional charges.


6. Early Check-Out

If a guest decides to check out before the scheduled departure date:

  • The hotel may charge for the entire booked stay or one additional night, depending on the situation.

7. Third-Party Booking Platforms

If the booking was made through online travel agencies (OTA) such as travel websites or booking platforms, the cancellation policy of that platform may apply.

Guests should check the cancellation terms mentioned on the respective booking platform.
